How do I extract audio from a video?
To extract audio from a video, open a converter that supports video input, add the file and choose an audio output such as MP3. In ARTH Convert, open the Video tab, pick Extract audio (MP3), press Convert and download the file. The process runs on your device and works with MP4, MOV, MKV and WebM.
A video file is a container that holds separate video and audio tracks. Extracting audio means copying or re-encoding the audio track into its own file.
MP3 is the most widely supported choice. If you need lossless audio, convert the extracted file to FLAC or WAV afterwards in the Audio tab.
Steps
- Open the Video tab in ARTH Convert.
- Add your MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM file.
- Choose Extract audio (MP3).
- Press Convert and download the MP3.
More questions

No. Your original video file is left untouched.
Can I extract audio from a long video?
